Taking steps toward making change
What would you change about your life? Let's face it. We all have things about ourselves we want to change, whether they are big or small. Some people dread, even avoid change, while others seek it out like the next big thing, latest fad or adrenaline rush. But change isn't always what we think it is. When it comes to changing our lives, we think it only takes a certain amount of determination, drive and discipline. But there's much more to change. And in this series, Pastor Glenn teaches us that change-real change-comes only from God. And when we learn to partner and cooperate with him, we tap into the power that can radically change everything about our lives, forever.

What is "40 Days of Purpose"?
"40 Days of Purpose" is an intense, 6-week, church-wide campaign designed to deepen, renew, or even begin each participant's relationship with God. It will transform our answer to life's most important question: What on earth am I here for? Based on Saddleback Church Pastor Rick Warren's bestselling book, The Purpose Driven Life, the "40 Days of Purpose" campaign leads each participant to consider a Christian lifestyle in the 21st century based on God's eternal purposes, not cultural values. It is hopeful. It is challenging. It can transform individual lives and transform the life of our church.
What will our church gain from "40 Days of Purpose"?
Individually we will each discover:
Why am I alive? What is my purpose? Why are we here?
How can I become more like Christ?
Corporately, more people will come to Christ.
The value of church membership will be reinforced
The habits that lead to Christian growth will be reinforced through small group participation, scripture memory and personal quiet time.
Participants will learn that we were planned for God's pleasure and how to reorient our thinking toward living our lives for God rather than thinking "it's all about me".
The 40 Days of Purpose Campaign will help you discover your life purpose through:
Worship - You were planned for God's pleasure.
Fellowship - You were formed for God's family.
Discipleship - You were created to become like Christ.
Ministry - You were shaped for serving God.
